Spotlight is a new flagship programme at Performers Theatre Company, designed for aspiring performers seeking focused, high-impact training. Launched in January 2026, each 6 to 12-week intensive provides an immersive experience in a specific performing arts discipline, combining expert tuition, practical workshops, and personalised guidance.

With limited spaces to ensure individual attention, participants have the opportunity to refine their skills, build confidence, and prepare for professional performance opportunities. This programme is perfect for those ready to commit to their craft and take their performance abilities to the next level.​​

Past workshops

From 11th January to 29th March 2026, Matthew Bearne, a voice director for leading platforms including Sky, Netflix and Disney, facilitated a Screen Acting Intensive. Across 12 weeks of immersive training, young performers (ages 11–18) took part in weekly three-hour workshops designed to develop their individual screen acting skills. From mastering on-camera technique to building confidence and authenticity in performance, the programme offered tailored guidance to help each participant grow in front of the lens.​
