Summer Schools

At Performers Theatre Company, we offer intense 5-day summer schools where students work towards a final performance, usually a well-known musical. Children focus on the three disciplines throughout the week as well as learning about audition technique, stage presence, stage make-up, prop design and more.

Previous summer schools include The Greatest Showman, Wicked, High School Musical and Hairspray. All have been huge successes!

Upcoming Summer Schools

Matilda is a musical we love and cherish here at Performers Theatre Company so we cannot wait to spend a week embracing every part of it next summer!

Dates: Monday 3rd August - Friday 7th August 2026
Times: 10am - 3pm every day
Location: Park Community School, Havant
Age range: 6-18 years
Early drop off available (from 9:15am) for £5 per day - this includes a breakfast pastry, juice and fruit.

Fees:*
£125 (Year 2 pupils - half day 10am-12pm)

£200 (Performers pupils)
£215 (Non-Performers pupils)
15% sibling discount
All prices include a summer school t-shirt and admission to the end of week performance.

*2026 will see an increase in fees. However, it stills remain hugely affordable, equating to £8 per hour.

What to expect?
The Summer School show week will consist of:
-Audition technique
-Character development
-Focus on 3 core disciplines (acting, dancing and singing)
-Ensemble performance work
-Intense week long rehearsals for an end of week performance
-Stage make-up workshop
-Magic skills workshop *NEW*
-Special guest workshop
