On Saturday 12th October 2024, we welcome well-renowned director Phil Hawkins and professional actress Jessica Blake to Performers Theatre Company for an incredible Acting for Film masterclass!
The focus of the session will be a professional insight into acting for film and television, learning all the techniques and skills necessary to thrive in front of the camera. Children will also develop a real knowledge of professional auditions and Spotlight - the largest casting resource in the UK and used by thousands of production companies, agencies and casting directors.
Phil is a commercial, television and independent film director from Manchester, United Kingdom. His work in feature film includes Prancer: A Christmas Tale (2022) and Robin And The Hoods (2024). He is also known for appearing in the Fox/DreamWorks reality television show On The Lot produced by Steven Spielberg.
