welcome tara!

Performers are THRILLED to announce that we have successfully hired TARA ROBERTS as our MUSICAL THEATRE DANCE TEACHER on Saturdays! We know that Tara will be a fantastic addition to our wonderfully talented team. Welcome Tara!

Tara is an avid enthusiast of dance and performance arts. She started her dance journey at the age of 3 at the Gwynedd School of Dance, North Wales. Growing up, she continued her dance training at Barton’s Dance and Drama Academy where she excelled in a range of dance forms such as ballet, tap, modern, disco, hip-hop, jazz and national - achieving ISTD from merit to distinction. She developed her experience as a teaching assistant for two years. During her time at Barton’s, she was fortunate to perform to an audience at venues such as Her Majesty’s Theatre, Sadler’s Wells and the Royal Albert Hall in London, enhancing her stage performance skills and artistic dance practices.

At the age of 16, she studied performance arts (QCF) attaining a double grade merit and advance skills training certificate. She was given the pleasure of performing as a leading role (as Iris) in the musical ‘Fame’ and a production of ‘Our House’ as a dancer.

In 2017, she enrolled at Kingston University School of Art, earning a degree in BA Dance (Hons). She was given a high quality standard of education and competed with the Kingston University Dance Society as a proud member on the committee – taking on the team to win many titles and trophies. It was here that she developed an interest in Latin dance, to add to her dance portfolio. She engaged in many dance classes with influential dancers in the industry.

Tara will begin teaching our Juniors and Seniors from Saturday 25th February 2023!
